I have a 2 1/2 year old son and expecting another in Aug. I am having a hard time finding a playgroup/mom's group in our area. Any suggestions or groups that I am unaware of would be helpful! Thanks!-A.K.

What can I do next?

There is also a faith-based (no specific religion) Moms group called MOPS (MOPS.org to find local chapters)...they usually break for the summer but meet once every other week. They will start back up again in the fall, and are a great resource.

Hi, I am part of North Metro Mamas. You should take a look at it. We do events in the Blaine/Coon Rapids/Andover areas. I have a two year old and a 3 month old. If you type "North Metro Mamas" into Google Search it comes up, it is through Meetup.com

Check on Robbinsdale ECFE classes or Plymouth community classes. There are some good ones and a good way to meet people in the area :) If you find a great group, let me know! I have a 13 month old.

Try going to momsclub.com that is how I found my local moms club. They have playgroups and all sorts of things.
