Are there any people that are open to diversity. I am African American and I am looking for a play group for my girls. They are 9 and 6 years old. I would like well mannered children who are used to playing with ethnic children. I don't mean to sound to blunt, but I have found that it is very difficult to find that combination of kids and parents
I understand. I'm white and my husband is Mexican. We had our first baby girl in June. There is an African American family down the block that had a baby girl a week after mine. We are in a great neighborhood full of wonderful people. So, I had hoped that she and I could get the little girls together. She won't even entertain the thought. It's sad!
Hi!! I really know what you are talking about. My son (20 months) and daughter (3 year) are multi-ethnic and it is had to find a place where they are open to lots of diversity. I am Caucasian and my husband is 1/2 African American and 1/2 Korean. My children love being around all types of people and well behaved. It's too bad my kids are so young. I am 1/2 African American and 1/2 Italian and am married to a Caucasian man in Allen. We have a 7 year old son who we really try to expose to all different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. He is always looking for playmates and plays well with both boys and girls, ages 5-10. If you are near our area, we would welcome a playdate!
I would welcome my daughter getting together with your children. However, she is almost 13 so I don't know if you would be interested or not. I am in Allen. Message me...maybe we can have coffee or something.
