Hi all. It is my son's third birthday party on Saturday. I got a Thomas the train pinata and want some ideas of how to fill it. I got the chocolate candy taken care of (I will make sure not to leave it in the sun!). What kind of other sweets or toys are good? I'm not sure, will little packs of treats fit in there? I saw some pinata filler packages online, but the toys didn't look like much fun and the candies were smarties etc... I want this to be a good one! Can you find packages of those super bouncy balls anywhere, like what you get out of toy vending machines? I'm just hoping to get some original ideas, thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Oh yeah, just so you all know. It is the pinata with the ribbons that the kids take turns pulling and one of them releases the goodies. I'm not having 15 3 year olds swinging a bat!

Thank you so much! I went to the iparty store and hit the jackpot! That is an awesome store! I'm so excited now!

Hi, a local dollar type store may have some things you're looking for. The last time we did a pinata the dog gone thing was made with cardboard on the inside and it took me hitting it HARD to open it...we bought it at wall mart. If I do another pinata i will weaken it ahead of time by poking small holes like serrations around it, otherwise it was very frustrating for the kids.

Have fun!!!

Go to Party City or LTM Party store. They have lots of cheap little toys for parties and treat bags.
