Hi Moms,
I was wondering when some of you starting letting your child use a pillow? And if you did, what kind of pillow did you use. Was it an adult or child size pillow?
Thanks for your input,
C.

My daughter was 20 months when we moved her into a toddler bed and started using a pillow. It's adult size but fairly flat.
My oldest was close to 2 and my youngest was a bit younger than that. Since they co-sleep we had to do it for both of them at the same time.
Hi C.,
My son was around 1 year old when we moved him to a big boy bed with a pillow. I just picked up a regular pillow from Target and we have been using it ever since.
Good Luck!

About the same with us. Our son started playing with our pillows on our bed and would dose off on them at night or nap time. SO, when Jake was about 18 months, climbing out of the crib and showing he was ready, we got him a toddler bed and we had an old, flat adult pillow for him to use. He has the same thing at both his grandparents' homes as well.
We started when our daughter was around 1 year. She got a cold and we used it to elevate her head a little to help her breathing. We used a fairly flatish adult pillow. She's 2 now and we still use it.
