My daugahters are turning 1 in a couple of weeks and want to get some pictures taken for there 1st birthday. Can anyone suggest where I can get pictures taken that are good quality and not too expensive.

Sadies is really good especially with the different backgrounds, a little on the pricey side. There's also Jcpenny's and Sears ive known people that have gone there and the pictures turned out great to and there's always coupons in the paper and magazines for their pictures too.

This is my friends website. She does professional photography. She's done all my daughter's pics from 3 weeks on. It's $100 for the session and you get a CD of all the pictures. She's really good and creative. They won't be your run of the mill pictures. Hope this helps!

Portrait Innovations in Pembroke Pines is amazing. I used to go to babies r' us in Boca but, P.I. is much better. They have a $10 package where you get 10 sheets of pictures. You can do it every few months. I took my sister in law there in January and she said they were the best pictures she's ever has done of my 8 year old niece. I just love them. I drive out there all the way from Pompano.
I'm not sure where you live, but I'm a big fan of Babies-R-Us in West Boca. We got our Christmas pictures there, and they did a really nice job. Not expensive and you can take the pictures with you when you leave. Check on-line and you'll probably find some coupons.

Unfortunately Sadie’s is closed...they closed in the last month and my son too is turning 1 in August. I had his 3rd, 6th, 9th month and various holiday photos done there (that came out AMAZING!)...so like you I am back to square one....I have looked threw the books at target and I really like what they are able to do for the first birthday, and I heard several moms that were happy with babies r us, I just really wanted to do something a bit more special, like I have done for all the other months....best of luck!! I took my daughter when she was 6 months old to Portrait Innovations in Pembroke Pines, google to see other locations but they were fantastic....lots of backgrounds, clothing changes and the best is they show you all the shots digitally on the big screen, so awesome, no pressure, great prices and you walk out of there within an hour with all your pictures. Good Luck! My daughter is now 13 months old and we are expecting another baby and I will definately take them again to that studio!

Olan Mills takes great pictures, high quality. You might want to see if there are any coupons(some of their studios are located in Kmart stores) or check online. You will fall in love with the poses so usually you end up buying more that you bargained for...hence price goes up as well.

I like Kiddee Kandids. They are located in Babies R US locations. They take really great pictures and the pictures are ready in about ten minutes.
