There is a place called Portrait Innovation in Naperville. Its a little ways from you but they are inexpensive. I have gone in with my 2 year old and walked out with no pictures because she would not cooperate and they were great about it and understood. We have also been there to take family pictures and had our Christmas cards done there. They have specials all the time and you can gets tons of pictures for $10 but with only one pose. They have a website that you can check out also. My oldest daughter has had her pictures taken there about 4 or 5 times in the past couple of years. We have been happy with the pictures we have received from them. Good luck

Jill's in downtown Naperville is great. They are expensive though. So usually what I do is go in and pay for the sitting, get the pictures done then look at them online at a later date. I pic a couple that I like and then I buy the electronic copies of those (I don't buy the package deals they suggest). I then own the electronic copies and can use them to print xmas cards through snapfish.com etc. Hope that helps!

I get my pictures done by a photographer that either will come to your house or meet you at parks, etc. Her prices are amazing for what you get.

This is really the way to go because she gets amazing "no pose" pictures. They really are the best. I have some truly special ones of my daughter.

I use to go to places like Jcpenny, but for a little more, you get 1.5 hours of pictures, rather than 15 minutes. You can buy the CD of all the pictures for 100, so it's like 115 all in, for 1.5 hours worth of pictures! I have never been able to walk out of JcPenny's or the like without spending at least 60, and you only get a handful of good pictures!

In any case, check out the website. She lives in Wheaton.

Portrait Innovations takes great pictures and are a great price. I've gone to 3 different ones and have been happy with all of them. I've had 8 sessions there and are about to set up another one for my daughter's 4 yr pics. You get about 50 pictures for $10 and no sitting fee and anyone can be there. They will try to get you to buy a lot more, but that's fully up to you. We've started getting the special (always on - can only be used every 3 months) and a Deluxe Cameo I think - it's the 11x13 that has 3 pictures in it for another $30. That way we have 4 poses and not too much money and we don't have to find TONS of wall space.

Have fun with your pictures! Oh, and by the way it can be nearly impossible to find a Target with pictures and we were very disappointed with our pictures from Walmart.

Wherever you end up going be it to a professional photographer or to places like pictire people, jcpenny, target or sears make sure you have talked to them about pricing and leave your home with a budget. When I have had pictures done I leave my house with cash as when I get there I get swept up in the fact that they are all of my babies and I want them all. Which usually they know and work really hard to sell. That being said there are some great photographers downtown Batavia but a portrait is 150.00 and then if you want more it'll cost you.
