Try one by animal parade... they have one called 5 which has fruits and veggies... normally we can get the carbs and proteins in to them... just not the other.
My little one is turning 2 soon , and he is a very picky eater. I was thinking of giving him a nutritional drink to supplement if he misses a meal. Any recomendations on a good nutritious(natural) drink supplement for toddlers/kids??

I did decide to try amazing grass first , So far so good he seems to like it , right NOW anyway so we'll see.I am also making healthy smoothies in the morning for breakfast for everyone. My older boys like it too. You never knw though he likes something one day then the next day not so much , keeping my fingers crossed!

I give my 3yr old PediaSure and he loves it! Not sure what to do about my son either, cuz he is the most pickiest eater. he never wants to try new things, so I really hope PediaSure is working.

We use Shaklee Meal Shakes for our son and he loves it. When my brother was young, he drank them too because he was a picky eater. We call them 'shake 'ems' and my son loves to watch me be silly and shake 'em up really good. At first my husband was concerned because there is 18 grams of sugar (natural, not high fructose corn syrup), but then I pointed out to him that yogurt has almost the same amount in a much smaller serving and provides many other benefits. We buy the cocoa flavor, but I know that vanilla flavor is really good too (I used to mix it with orange juice for a 50/50 smoothie for myself). My son loves vanilla, so we'll probably try it. You can also blend fruit and other things in the shake. I think they give you a recipe card when you order it.
There is another one at Whole Foods that has all the fruits and veges your child needs, if I remember correctly it's called Super Juice (powder) and you mix it with water. My son used to like that too, but you know they go through phases. I tried it and it was pretty tasty so long as you keep it shaken. We bought the berry flavor.
Good luck, I totally feel your pain! Our son eats carbs only - no meat whatsoever, not even chicken fingers! We can get him protein with eggs, cheese and peanut butter, so needed to supplement.
My son is the same way and we give him pediasure or kids boost. I really like the kids boost but it has a straw. If your child drinks from a straw this is my favorite.
At Wholefoods and online they sell a powder called Amazing Grass. My son loves it. At the end of the day, though, eating a balanced diet is the most important thing for any growing body. Have you tried cooking with his? Even making smoothies or popsicles. Trying taking your son to a farmers market or grocery and letting him pic out and food to make something with together. Giving kids a sense of control in what they eat can help out a great deal.-www.weelicious.com
Ovaltine, it's got tons of vitamins and minerals and kids will actually drink it, unlike a lot of more expensive stuff that's out there. Glen Oaks makes a liquid yogurt drink that my 16 year olds been drinking since he was two and he still loves it. Smoothies are also a great idea. I've found that most of the nutrition drinks taste pretty awful and are incredibly overpriced. He should be fine with any of these.

I commend you for knowing that your child needs supplements. Whether he is a fussy eater or not, all kids AND ADULTS need supplements. My family using the same one…for all of us.
Here is what you must know to choose the product that is right from you:
1. If it is advertised on TV, it is probably is full of fillers/preservatives because advertising is very expensive so you get a lower quality product in the end.
2. If you can purchase it at one of those large discount stores, be leery, again, how do they sell things for such a “great price” again, fillers and garbage.
3. What is the serving size vs how much sugar? Now do not just look at what it says on the label (leagally they only have to account for sugar – not all the derivatives of) Count the number of “ose” ingredients. Now some are necessary and some are even healthier but it there is a combination needed for them to be healthier.
4. How many ingredients can you NOT read on the container? Now you are not expected to be a scientist or a formulator, but know what you are reading. What kind of protein (I prefer whey) is in the shake and WHAT grade is it? If you are buying something and you can not find out what the grade is be careful.
5. Look at the daily percentages on the label. KNOW what is necessary.

Yes, make a smoothie WITH him in the morning.
Gather milk, yoghurt, fruit, some juice, some vit C powder?, some psyllium husks (for extra fibre), a raw egg, ice, some whatever else (amazing what you can 'sneak in' there - prunes, puree), he pours it in the blender with you, buzzes it, chooses this cup or that one, this straw or that one, and call it something special (we called it "Boost Juice" as my son loves the stuff)
It's great fun. We did it until our blender died! I need a new one...

P.S all that to say - YOU can make the best nutritional and natural (and INEXPENSIVE) drink for him, then add in more 'meals' you can do together. keep trying new things. My son didn't eat much until nearly two, and has on and off stages of eating even at 4.
My son loves pappadums with mince on them atm (we cook them in the microwave for 1 minute - no oil!) and also pasta and bolognaise, and chicken liver pate!
