I am looking for a photo studio to take my daughter for her one-year photo. Any suggestions?
I chose Target Studio ( LifeTouch) I went to the one in Roseville. We bought a small cake for my daugther to have her way with. We got some really cute photos with the cake. They also had a family bathroom that you can wash the baby up in. It was a lot of fun and I got some adorable memorable photos.
Flash Photography in the Maplewood Mall did a great job with ours. I can email some to you if you give me your email address to show you what ours turned out like.
We have been taking our kids to Groe Photo in Oakdale for over 8 years now! (My oldest will be 9 in January) We have had really good results. My daughter just had her 18 month photos done and they are great. Good luck.
I go to Proex in Maplewood....
Little more than Target or Walmart, but I get to pick the poses I want and I am not stuck to just one package of one pose.
Flash Photography is in Maplewood mall. I saw examples where there was a diapered baby sitting in front of a small birthday cake. They let the baby tear it apart and make a huge mess while they photographed it. Pretty cute! I saw some great little cakes recently at Super Target. They do pretty good with more traditional shots as well.
I've had good luck at Target Portrait Studio too. I'm not sure where there's one around Maplewood, but I'm sure they're close. Maybe Roseville?

A little pricer than the kmart, walmart places but well worth it.

I don't know about Maplewood -- but, we just had a bunch of photos taken at Celebrity Kids in Woodbury Lakes !! AWESOME! The kids had SO much fun -- and the photos were unique and spontaneous! We loved it.

I agree with others that Flash Digital Photography in Maplewood is really good. I've been to Walmart, Sears, Target, JCPennys, and other local photography studios, but they were not as good as Flash. Go to their website @ http://www.flashportraits.com/ and subscribe to their offers & news. I received a 20% off all portraits coupon. Take a look into it. Our family is planning on pictures next spring. My son just turned 2 months so we're waiting until he can sit. Good luck!
