Her work is incredible and prices are really fair.
I'm trying to decide where to go for our 5 month old's 6 month photos at the end of February. We went to Olan Mills for our 3 month photos and were dissapointed with what we got for the price. We are hoping to keep price at a minimum.

I love Jc Pennys. i have been going there for 4 years now and have never been upset with them! you can also get great deals. Free sitting fee, free 8x10 and 3.99 per sheet. just log onto there website and you can print them from there!
J., Check out www.kscullyphotography.com She is a local photographer/mom who takes gorgeous pictures of babies and kids. She will come to your house or another location. We couldn't be happier with our photos from her! Once you enter her website, check out the bottom left corner to see her portfolio. Have fun with your baby.
We use Wagner photography over in Columbia, IL. I live in Fenton too and it's a short drive. Jackie Wagner does a great job and she's photographed all 3 of my children since they were very young. You can see her website at http://www.wagner-photo.com/. They have a birthday club where you pay a one time fee that covers your sitting fees annually until they are 12. Not as cheap as a mall place, but she does great work, and you aren't stressed out b/c the next client is waiting ... she gives plenty of time and attention to your sitting. Good luck!
I really like Target or JcPenney's (they are both Life Touch). And if you get a coupon, it is a pretty good deal.
Portrait Innovations is GREAT!!! You can get a entire package for $9.95!!! But the the catch is that you can only choose ONE pose. But if you are like me and get your child's picture taken every 3 to 6 months it is great!!! They take a whole bunch of shots and it is hard to choose (that is what they are hoping you do is buy more so then they charge you regular price for the rest) But if you stay strong and choose ONE pose you get BIG package for $9.95! I go to the one in Chesterfield Valley but I attached the link and you can find the one closest to you(:

I took my daughter to Olan Mills at 3 months & 1 year. The first time they did a very nice job, but I was also disappointed with the 1 year pictures. We went to JcPenney for her 6-month pictures, and it went wonderfully. They always have coupons for $7.99 packages or $3.99/sheet. The photographer was really great with my daughter, and the pictures turned out cute. It was their South County location.
I haven't been there myself, but everyone I know talks about Picture People. They do very nice work (my friends' pictures are great!) and they treat the kids very well, too.
I haven't been there personally but I have seen some beautiful portraits out of a place called Portrait Innovations. They have some really good starter packages that might be helpful and their pictures are really amazing.
Hello,
I have a 16 month old and I always take him to Kiddie Kandids in Babies R Us. It is not very expensive and they are very good. Good Luck!
I have had really good luck with Portrait Innovations in Chesterfield. They have one person who gets the child to smile while the other one snaps pictures. They offer a really good package a few times a year and they take lots of pictures to choose from. I have one child who hates getting her picture taken and they were really patient. We even took my husband's whole family in for a group picture as well as everyones family shots and they were great!!! Here is their website: http://www.portraitinnovations.com/find_a_location/?state...
I really like Photo Innovations. I go to the one over in Brentwood (and Stephanie is the gal my kids like), but there are a couple of locations. I think there's one in Chesterfield, too. They are very professional and good with the kids. The pics are great. They are digital, so you can usually get the pictures, in hand, in thirty minutes AND they will give you the disc of the pictures you chose, so that you can email the photos and/or print them at home. Very nice quality at very reasonable prices.

A neighbor of mine recommended Capture The Moment to me. The photographers name is Terri Stoff and she is a wonderful person. She comes to your home or a park or some place you would like to have pics taken. The sitting fee was only $45 to Columbia, Il, she lives in Missouri but it might have went up since then. She does not "pose" your children for pictures. She takes pictures of your kids while they are "just being themselves". It is the most beautiful form of photography I have ever seen. The pictures turned out better than I could ever imagine. She even brings props like tutu's and hats. One of our pictures is my 3 little girls playing dress up in the yard and my husband and I are in the background on the porch watching them. It is a wonderful picture. I would recommend her to anyone for unique photos that will create lasting memories forever and they are very affordable.
My vote is for Portrait Innovations
J., I am a highly trained, professional photographer. I work on location and in studio. Please visit my site at www.robinorvis.com to view samples of my work. I work with natural light and studio strobe, as well as b&w and color. A photo session with R. Orvis Photography is a unique, boutique experience, and one you'll always remember. I guarantee my work 100%. I don't work like the chain studios and I'm certainly not part of the new crop of "moms with cameras".

Thank you and good luck.
I really like Picture People. We go to the one in South County. We used to go to Target and Sears when the kids were babys.
TARGET>>>>>>>>>> I will NEVER go anywhere else....... our photographers have always been soooooooo patient..... wonderful calm and tasteful..... I LOVED THEM on top of the fact that they were super cheap....
I've gotten my son's photos taken at Portrait Innovations and loved each one. They are reasonable and they do great work!
I took my son to the Picture People in the mall. There is no sitting fee and the pictures are $20 a sheet, which means 1 8x10, 2 5x7, or 8 wallets. They almost always have a coupon on there website for 20% off entire order. I don't think that they are the best but when the children are so young there are only so many poses they can do. Plus I found the price to be resonable.
They will take as many pictures as you want them to take and pictures are ready to be viewed in 1 hour and then it only takes about 5 minutes to get them after you pick what poses you want. Hope this helps. If you find something better let me know.
Hi J.,
Where are you located? My sister is a photographer and specializes in working with children. She is fabulous and you would get photos not found in a run-of-the-mill studio setting. If you would like more information, I'd be happy to forward that to you. She is in Ballwin, MO.
Good luck!!!
