Hi,
I am thinking of having a photo booth at my wedding in October. Does anyone know a good company they can recommend?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Hi Everyone,

Update-I do see a lot of Groupon and other site coupons but some of these companies do not have good reviews. I have another week so hopefully I find a company. Thanks for your help.

there are so many options for photobooths you need to decide what you want out of it. I have been to weddings where there is a machine and a remote and a table of props (ok there is always a table with props). But the people are responsible for taking the pic with the remote. Some have a photographer there to help pose and direct and get everyone in the shot. The last one I went to was self directed but there was an attendant. It took 4 pics like the booths of old and printed 2 sets of pics on one sheet. The attendant cut the pic in to 2 strips (of 4 pics each) and glued one in a guest book and gave one to the guest. That was my favorite. Some place will print on the spot. Some are uploaded to a website where guests can download them. Some are only given to the couple. At one place we got to choose the pic we wanted and they printed it on a tshirt and we got it in the mail. At one guests used their own cameras and instagrammed them with a special wedding hashtag. I would google for companies in your are to see what they offer and ask for client reviews from them. There is probably a local wedding vendor website to check out and yelp probably has reviews.

I would have my wedding photographer set this up. Isn't that part of their job?

Are you having a wedding photographer too? They can often supply a photo booth as part of your package.

If you're not having a wedding photographer (we didn't) and no local people have first-hand advice, then Google Photo Booth with the name of the wedding location. For example, this one is in Maywood. http://illinois.photocubbies.com/maywood-photo-booth-rent... then search that company name for reviews.
