I was wondering if anyone knows a store which does personalized name on pencils, i know many websites does but i need few so do'nt want to pay more on shipping charges.
Lillian Vernon and Oriental Trading. However, the quality of pencils from those places are not great.
Not sure if you could still do this, but when I was little my mom got personalized pencils for my sister and I from Honey Nut Cheerios. I don't remember the exact quantity, but it was no more than a small pack of pencils. Good luck finding some :)

why not check a printing company in your neighborhood, they would probably be able to do it.
Printing company or trophy shops can do it.
Getting it done at a local printing or trophy shop may cost you more than ordering them online AND paying for shipping! Around here, unless you're ordering a large number of items, it's very expensive to get just a handful of personalized items of any type custom-made.
Try the inexpensive catalog firm Miles Kimball at mileskimball.com. They do a lot of personalized stuff cheaply. If the name is very commonplace try party or craft stores as others suggested. If the name is the least bit unusual, or if it is very popular, you may not find it on pencils -- popular names always seem to be sold out in stores!

Michaels or Ben Franklin might have some. When I went ot buy graduation decorations I noticed the party store had tons of stuff like that too. If there is one of those kind of stores near you I would try it first.

Teacher supply stores and the like usually have them so long as you don't have a strange name. I grew up a JoEllen before I went with J. so no pencils for me. :(
