get a book on it...try library smeting for kids or kid friendly and red it with her.
Be completely honest with her. Use simple direct words, I got the book "my body" for my daughter and we read it together. Its so important they know and understand the changes that are happening to them.
there is a good book out there called "The Care and Keeping of Me" by American Girls. I used this for my daughter when she was younger. It answers all sorts of questions not only about hygeine but about the changes her body will go through. It is really good. My neice has used it and I just got it for my boyfriend's daughter who is 10.
Honesty. I know my mom's werid story about 'party in my belly' wasn't what I wanted to hear when I was 10/11. However, seeing the pads and products she bought for me in parparation was helpful because I asked questions.
But my best friend's mom bought her a book and we read it together and that helped.
I am 32 and have a 22mo old daughter .. I'm sure it will be hard for me in another 8 years!!
