Hi L.--First let me say none of those "diets" hardly work and we should not have to do all of this work to burn calories. First of all the reason why your metabolism is slow and thousands of other women is because of the toxins. It starts in your liver first and then works its way through your entire body-kidneys, adrenals, thyroid and eventually metabolism. Those other "diets" only compound the problem by thinking a pill or only eating certain foods will give you a quick fix. You have to look at your eating regimen and your water intake.
You have to correct your body-which means if your adrenals are fatigued and with peri or any kind of menopausal/pms problems you are estrogen dominant as well. Did your doctor also test for this when she did the saliva?
First of all stop taking the supplements. There are very few brands out there that actually work and help.
Give me some more detail on your eating plan and how much water you drink. Also are you drinking and eating any processed (ANYTHING boxed or pre-prepared)foods? Also let me know what exactly you are taking-name brand and the description.
