Once and done, works great!
I have a pergo floor in my kitchen which gets very dirty and I have never found a cleaner that will clean it and leave it looking great. I get dull white (surface only) scratch marks, although they don't really look like scratch marks, just marks on it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi A.,
We had our first floor done with Pergo several years ago. -Livingroom, dining room and kitchen. High traffic areas! I thought if I had to buy the Pergo cleaner I would go broke! So I went on line and found out the the main ingredient in the cleaner is WHITE VINEGAR!! How cheap is that??
So I used a spray bottle with vinegar and water.
I sweep - broom or electric broom (Love this one), wet mop to get up the rest, then spray the vinegar and water and use the big terry cloth covered mop that Pergo sells. Once in a while I then use the Pergo cleaner -when company is coming LOL
On a daily clean up - I just spray with the vinegar and wipe the spills. So far the Pergo looks good!
Stubborn spots I spray and wait a few minutes then wipe.Don't use anything abrasive!!
I also use a steam cleaner as i had read that it's best to avoid chemical cleaners on Pergo. Works quite well and couldn't be easier!
I have the H20 steam mop and love it, it really melts away the dirt and grime. Before I had the steam mop I purchased the armstrong laminate floor cleaner and that did a good job as well.
I'm told that the Shark Steam Mop does a good job as well.
Have you tried the magic erasers yet? They might work on tough spots.
Good luck!
