We have the same problem with out son because he pukes...a lot. We use something called Nature's "something or other." You buy it at the pet store. It is meant to work with "organic" stains and odors, such as pee, poop and puke. You scrub it in and then leave it. As it dries, the smell goes away. I also used it in my car when some food leaked out of its container and got into my trunk carpet. It worked great.

Buy the big size...just in case:)

S.,

Try Nature's Miracle. They sell it in pet stores for pet stains. Saturate the area and let it air dry. If there is any smell left after it is dry, do it again. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 kids. There is very little that any of then spew that NM can't cure. LOL

I know this sounds like your covering it up but it can't hurt to try it. fabreeze on the couch and that carpet powder on the rug. then vacumme. I think oder eaters(arm n hammer) makes a soulution for these items too so maybe you can get a sitter for a minute and go get it at target.probably cheaper there. I know there cheaper then walmart with things like this.

Try using baking soda. Now I know it sounds weird but sprinkle some on and leave it for about 15 mins. Then after that time you vacuum it all up. If you want more ideas about using baking soda got to www.bakingsoda.com.

If the stain is gone but the smell is still there try putting a good layer of baking soda on the location and let it sit for a day, or as long as you can. It worked great on stinky dog barf. Just vacuum up when you're ready to get rid of it. It's the same idea as putting a box in the frig to absorb odors. If you do it once and it gets better but still there just do it again with fresh baking soda. Also, don't use an old box - fresh works better. Good luck!
