My 4 year old girl has expressed that she wants to be a little cheerleader. So I am tryng to make her wish come true. I am looking for a team that offers cheer & competition for her age group. I am seeking information on Pee Wee cheerteams in the Dallas metroplex. Everyone that I speak with is aware that these teams exist, but not sure how to find information about the teams. If anyone is aware of these groups/organizations please reply. Thanks for your assistance.
Hi I am F. S. Yes there are some pee wee cheerleaders out there. You will find them at places like Beckley Saner Recreation Center, Salvation Army Recreation Center. Theses centers have cheerleaders thats if you stay in Dallas. I hope this helps. My sons when they were young played for these centers and they had cheerleaders also.

Before you decide which direction to go you need to decide the type of competition you want her to compete in. I am part of an organization called the Mesquite Giants Youth Organization (www.leaguelineup.com/mgyo) During football season we have drill team and cheer teams who do participate in a competition at the end of the season. Our goal is to make sure the team members have fun and learn to be part of a team. If you are looking for something more competitive (going to competitions several times a year) then you will need to check in to places like Planet Cheer.

In our community I live in Mesquite. They have a pee-wee league. Teams are usually divided thru the many schools. Also you could check out the ymca has teams not sure what the age groups are.

Try the local recreation center. They always have stuff going on. If you live in the Forney area, call Planet Cheer. They do cheer/dance/tumbling for the little ones.
