I am in the process of finding a pediatrician for my son. I am due in September and had originally thought we would just see who the hospital provided but am learning I should be interviewing doctors. Anyway, I am looking for recs in the Keller/Southlake/Grapevine area.

Dr. Erica Zwerneman at Cooks on Southlake is wonderful! Both kids love giong to her, she never makes you feel rushed, she remembers my kids when we go in, and she actually talks to them - the docs at kidscare never lowered themselves to actually speak to my children, they didn't even answer their questions!

I love, love, love, Dr. Sandra Arca in Grapevine. She's with Cook Children's. Always takes her time, never had a problem getting an appt., great staff that is super nice and easy to deal with.

I second the opinion on staying away from Kid Care. Their billing department is horrible. They always charged us the wrong amount and they try to charge you extra for every little thing.
I see Dr Nichols at Cooks in Southlake. Love them! Steer clear of Kid Care Pediatrics. One of the Dr did a poor job on my son's circumcision and the office staff is unorganized and rude.
I absolutely LOVE Dr David Nichols in Southlake. His number is ###-###-####. When my son was born 5 weeks premature, we had to take him in daily for bloodwork because he had jaundice really bad. It got to the point of almost needing a transfusion and Dr Nichols would call me personally each day with his blood test results. You don't find many doctors who make phone calls themselves!
