I go to Town and Country Pediatrics and I believe that several of their members are NW affiliates. Their web site is http://www.townandcountrypeds.com/
They're so wonderful. I've seen several of the doctors and they've all been great.
Does anyone have any experiences with the pediatricians affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group? My doctor is in the NMPG and recommended them, but I wanted to get an unbiased opinion. Thanks!

If the group you are reffered to is the one headed by Dr. Andrew Sagan (others in the group include Lechman, Karacic, Martin...), I would advise no way. I actually was referred to them by my NMPG obgyn which is why I went to the pediatric practice and I hate it. They are super mean whenever you carry any kind of balance on your account and they have policies and practices that are very anti-care if you ask me. One of the doctors told me he was tired of taking idotic phone calls in the middle of the night from the moronic parents with their moronic questions. And he was speaking to me - a parent. I would never refer this practice to anyone. Sorry for the bad news, but as a parent, I wish I had been steered away from them beforehand. Hope this helps.

We started using the NMPG Pediatrician practice last July when our baby was born. Dr. Sagan is our pediatrician, but we've also met Drs. Lechman, Karacic, and Chandra-Puri and have been happy with all of their attention and care. They've provided us very frank and practical advice, which is what we were looking for as new parents. I have also found the "Pediatric Take Home Notes for Parents" on their website very helpful.
In terms of the office administration, for the 3 visits we've had so far, the longest we had to wait to see Dr. Sagan was 20 minutes. It seems to be a busy practice, but they also seem to do an OK job of getting patients in and out.
Hope this is helpful.

I know my health insurance has NWMPG and we chose to go with Child and Adolescents Health Associates b/c a friend of mine recommended them to me. They are located on Clark near Maple in the Gold Coast. I really like the Drs. there. I take my son to Dr. Wilson. She is really good. Their front desk staff is not that good, but the Drs. are. They are affiliated with Northwestern.

Hi- I used NMPG for my OB and they are great- I have heard the pediatricians are really good too. I used Northwestern's Children Practice. www.sweetbabies.com
I am very happy with that practice.
I have several friends and neighbors who go to them. All have positive things to say. I think the only negative is that they use nurses for alot (that is what my ob-gyn told me). I do not go to them, however, my pediatrician is affiliated with Northwestern also - Dr. Weinstein, Dr. Cahan, Dr. Taxman, & Dr. Panoushis. They are very good.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I am due in May and have been doing a little research on the pediatricians my doctor recommended (all are affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital). I received GLOWING recommendations for the Northwestern Children's Practice. The moms I spoke with raved about the flexibility of the hours (they are open every single day of the week!), the knowledge of the doctors, and the friendliness of the entire staff. Dr. Weissbluth was specifically mentioned as being THE source on sleep problems, and Lord knows if my baby has problems finding his/her sleep schedule, I'll be making an appt. with him! And Dr. Sharma was also mentioned as being very empathetic because she has young children herself and knows EXACTLY what we are/will be going through. Everyone who referred this office said that every doctor they have seen has taken the time to make sure all of your questions and concerns are answered/resolved before you leave the office. So I felt confident choosing this office as the one to look in on my baby when I deliver in late May.
I hope this helps! I know I was EXTREMELY overwhelmed with the list of referrals from my OB/GYN's office, but after getting numerous unrelated referrals for this office, I feel secure in my choice.
Good luck!

Hi-
I bring my 15 month old girl to the same pratice. I love it there. We go to doctor Goldstein. He is very good with kids! He has a little boy himself so he understands what other parents are going through.
Yes, My daughter has been going there for 6 years. She see's Dr. Peter Lechman. She has also seen most the other physicians there, I have to say the only one that rubbed me the wrong was was the director, Dr. Sagan.
The staff is great, very friendly, always cheerful. The rest of the doctors there are great, very informitave and interested in your child's history. Like I said, the only one (and other's i have spoken to) I didnt like was Dr. Sagan.
