I live in the west suburbs of Cleveland (N. Olmsted, Fairview, Westlake, Rocky River Areas) I'm looking for a doctor for my 16 month old son. We've been kind of unhappy with our peciatrician - he seems a bit too anxious to do tests for every little thing, plus he kind of rushes through appointments, and repeats himself. I would like to find someone who will take time to sort of play with my son or help him get a little comfortable before the exam, someone who listens and takes time to understand me and my concerns, and someone who didn't jump to the worst case scenario at the first sign of something. I was wondering if any of you had anyone you would recommend. Thanks.
I highly recommend Dr. Mona Patel Jagetia at Westshore Primary Care in North Ridgeville. ###-###-####. My sister and I both take our kids to see her. She's great with my two-year old son and I know she'll be great with my 3-week old daughter. Good Luck!!
HIGHLY recommend Dr. Brenda McGhee at Comprehensive Pediatrics. They are in Westlake also have an office in Fairview. She is wonderful. Plus they are open 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Mon - Thurs. which is so convenient. Fri. 9-4 and Sat. 9-12. Dr. McGhee's the best!

I really like our pediatrician - her name is Kathy Skoch. Her partner is also very good. Their practice is called Neighborhood Pediatrics, in Lakewood, in the annex building next to the hospital. She doesn't do anything extravagant and is patient and very kind. Good luck!

They are open Mon-Fri with one doctor always staying late and have a 1/2 day on Saturday.
My kids love her. My daughter had to go to her yesterday because of her asthma and my son who is 3 was upset because he wanted a turn with the Doctor. Not many kids ask to see their doctor.
She is pregnant and due in January (she will be on materny leave for 6-8wks I think). While she is gone, we will see other doctors in the office (they are all great!!)
You can call them and get all of the Dr. names and information.
We like it there! :D
