I'm looking to change pediatricians. We are with Wayne Pediatrics right now and not very happy. Our baby is very fussy/high needs with lots of issues so we need someone who really takes time with us and offers good solutions and advice. Ideally we'd love a doctor who is flexible with a vaccine schedule as well. Any recommendations would be great.
thanks
A.

Dr Noni Nelson in Bryn Mawr. She is very flexible with our vaccine schedule and always takes her time with us, answers all the questions we have and poses some questions when we forget to ask them! She's also very supportive of breastfeeding, having done it herself, and is willing to answer questions on that too.

i love dr kantor with Tri county, our daughter was that way too, and hes awesome, he won't give meds unless necsary (explains why it's ot good to give meds for colds, ear infections caused by colds...), which I think is important, explains things in ways for parents to understand and is laid back and calms down 1st time parents very well.

Hi, A.:

Did you tell your ped your concerns?
Ask him to refer you to another ped.
That is the kind thing to do.
Good luck.

My recomendation would be a family Dr, that way your child can be comfortable with that person and not have to switch Drs when they are older. I use a family Dr and I feel like they are more flexable with time!
