I also recommend Pediatricians of Dallas. We see Dr. Halsell, but have been happy with all the doctors we've seen there. Their number is ###-###-####.

We use Dr Straughn at Forest Lane Pediatrics (at Medical City Dallas). They have an office in Plano as well. We have seen Dr Blair (who we interviewed when I was pregnant) and Dr Straughn (who we met in the hospital and fell in love with) and love them both, and our neighbor sees Dr McGonnell in the same offices. Their website with contact info is at www.forestlanepediatrics.com.

Pediatricians of Dallas. Walnut Hill and Greenville. Great group (3 men and 2 women). We use Dr. Neely but all of them are awesome!

I LOVE our pediatrician. Dr Blair Forest Lane Pediatrics. He's got 2 offices so hopefully one is close to you.

We go to Dr. Somer Curtis of Pediatricians of Dallas and love her. My daughter is now 2 and we have been using Dr. Curtis since she was born. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this practice. Dr. Curtis is very warm and nurturing and takes the time to answer your questions - which is just very reassuring (especially to a first time parent). I also like that there are several doctors in the practice so in case Dr. Curtis hasn't been available, there are others in the practice you can get in to see quickly. I have a couple of friends who go to Dr. Halsell (also in this practice) and they really like her. Their offices are on Walnut Hill (across the street from Presbyterian Dallas Hospital) so it's very convenient to Lake Highlands/Lakewood. I would definitely recommend meeting with her as you narrow down your selection of pediatrician options. I am expecting my second child in March and definitely plan on using Dr. Curtis for this child as well. They also have a great lactation specialist on staff - which is really great for the first time Mom... Good luck in your search and congratulations!

We see Dr. Foster at Pediatric Associates of Dallas. Their offices are located at Walnut Hill and Greenville. It is a great practice group that has about 12 drs. in it. They are open 6 days a week from 8:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. I love this because my kids never seem to get sick during the day! We have seen about half the drs. in the office (for emergencies and liked them all). Their website is www.padnewsletter.com.
