Any recommendations on a good pediatric dentist west of downtown Fort Worth or Aledo? At what age did you start having your child(ren) see a dentist?

What can I do next?

Love Dr. Weiner! He's located at the Cook's Pediatric off of Bryant Irvin by the hospitals. He's so friendly and loves his patients. The office is extremely child friendly. They have huge stuffed animals and toys and brightly painted walls. The staff is fantastic!

Dr. R. Danford Doss
He is fabulous and was my dentist as a child. He now sees my son who is 18 months old. You should start taking your child once they have about 6 teeth or 1 year of age. He is located off of Bryant Irvin and South West Blvd. From I20 you would exit Bryant Irvin and go North. Approx 1 mile and the office building is on the left at the corner of Bellaire.

I just took my 6 1/2 yr-old recently for the first time (waited way too long). I will probably take my 3-yr-old when he's 4; they said they just do toothbrush cleanings until they're 4, so I figured I could (continue to) do that myself for a while. Anyway, they're fantastic!

Hi, T.. I take my four children to Fort Worth Pediatric Dentistry (fwpediatricdentistry.com). They are located in the Citiview area off of John Ryan. All three dentists are awesome, as is the rest of the staff. They make it very fun for the kids, and my children love to go, not to mention I absolutely trust them with our childrens' dental health. The only possible drawback is that, while they accept dental insurance, you have to claim them as out-of-network. Depending on your insurance, this may or may not be a little more expensive. Good luck!

We love the Fort Worth Pediatric Dentistry off Bryant Irving & 20 (near Mira Vista). My kids love going. Even had some cavities filled and it was a pleasant experience for our daughter. The one thing I love is they do email appt reminders. Here is their website: www.fwpediatricdentistry.com

Dr. Drew Jamison is awesome! He is in the same building and office as Dr. Stroud (their receptionist and waiting room area is the same). I would recommend anyone in that part of the building. My son completely freaked out the first time we took him to a dentist, but Dr. Drew got him to come around and now my son loves going to the dentist. Here's his contact info.:

Dentistry for Children

We LOVE Dr. Stroud in Willow Park! ###-###-####. My sons see him, and my sister has been taking her girls there for quite awhile (6+ years, I think). She had 2 other pedi dentists before finding Dr. Stroud. His staff also rocks.

We got to Dr. Jack Morrow & we love him. He is partners with Dr. Drew Jamison who has already been recommended to you in another post. My first child has been going to Dr. Jack for over 10 years & now #2 child is going to him as well. #3 will go too whenever he is old enough! ;~) Good luck!
