I am glad you found someone. For future reference I would stay away from the pediatric dentists on Martin Rd. We went there because they were a little cheaper and I was so frustrated and angry when I left that I would never recommend them. At first they were not going to let me go back with my terrified and in pain little 7 yr old. She had an abscessed tooth and was miserable and so afraid! I had to fight to get back there with her and then while I was back there I heard a nurse yelling at a frightened little 3-4 yr old girl who was crying and saying she was scared. Shortly after that I saw them give her a Valium and she calmed down. As I was leaving, the little girl was brought out and I heard the nurse explaining to the mommy that her little girl had been given something to calm her down. The mother was a little shocked and wondering why she wasn't called back and she was told that parents are never allowed back. I just have a hard time trusting doctors who run their practice without parental involvement. I had already made appointments for my 5 yr old and my 3 yr old before I had a chance to see their practice so before I left I went to the receptionist to ask about being able to go back with the younger kids. She said absolutely not, that I had had my chance to go back and see their practice and that they do not usually even allow that. I tried to explain that my 3 yr old would not go back with them (he has aspergers syndrome) and she said that this is their policy.
We ended up going to the pediatric dentists in Wolflin and loved them! They were everything this other dentist's office was not. I am so glad you went there first!
