Project CHILLD at the Cummings Center or OTA in Wakefield are both good!
Hi Moms - does anyone know of a pediatric PT and OT facility on the North shore or in the Melrose area? I'm doing research for an overwhelmed friend who's 4 year old son was diagnosed (via private evaluation) with sensory integration disorder. She's not happy with her current facility - mostly due to scheduling reasons - and is looking for alternatives. Many thanks...

Hi there, OTA of Wakefield (Occupational Therapists Association) is OT services. I do not believe they have PT but their OTs are fabulous. Good luck and I hope this helps.
Call OTA in Wakefield - they're great. I know a few of the therapists. Good Luck!
My nephew (3 1/2) has been seeing Stephanie (sorry, no last name) at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital Outpatient Clinic At Lynnfield located at 50 Salem Street. The number there is ###-###-####. He's been seeing them for Physical Therapy, specifically walking/running.
C.,
Has she checked with North Shore Children's Hospital in Salem, MA a member of NSMC. They have extensive children's services available.

If her insurance covers chiropractic, I would highly recommend Dr. Scott Fuller who is a chiropractic neurologist and who specializes in treating children with learning disabilities and neurologic problems. He has the necessary equipment for the necessary rehab, the training to determine what is needed and the child will get a more complete treatment that normalizes their nervous system,as well as the PT/OT therapies, as well as the parent getting nutritional information and other things that they can do to help at home. Dr. Fuller's office is in Woburn. His phone # is ###-###-####. I have sent a number of patients his way with special needs children and all have reported back thrilled with their results.
