My son has a severe peanut allergy also. I want to say thank you thank you thank you for thinking of kids like him and being concerned about what they can eat. For your situation I would recommend the following brands and read the ingredient statements including looking for any warnings about being processed on shared equipment with peanuts/nuts, etc. These companies do the best about labelling for all possible cross contact: Pepperidge Farm, Kellogg's, General Mills, Frito Lay. Nabisco and Kraft also label for cross contact but do not include a warning statement - it is simply listed as an ingredient even if the actual food recipe does not include peanut/nut or other allergens.
I have a list of all the safe foods my son can eat that they keep at his preschool and only serve from. If you would like a copy, I can email it to you if you let me know.
Best of luck and thanks again for your concern!!!!
