PCP Needed.

I live in Olathe, and am looking for a new PCP. I have not found one that I like yet since my insurance stopped covering my last doctor, and am hoping that someone out there knows a good one. I would like the Dr. to be located on the KS side. I live in Olathe, but my last Dr. was in Leawood....so there is no need for the Dr. to be in Olathe. Please let me know if you know of a good one and why you like them.

Thanks so much! :)

I love Dr. Christine Boylan! I've been going to her for about 10 years now. She has her own family practice, and she even does prenatal visits, delivered my daughter and will our next baby in June. Her office is located in the Menorah Medical Center suites, off of 119th & Nall:

5701 W 119th St # 305
Overland Park, KS 66209

There is another doctor in her practice too, and she's really good as well, though I'm totally drawing a blank on her name.

Drs. Rahto, Talbert, or Curry at College Park Family Care at College & Quivira. Dr. Rahto is my regular FP, but the other 2 have seen us at various walk-in or hurry-up visits and are both wonderful. College Park has THREE Olathe offices, too, so you might look into that. I've been with Dr. Rahto for nearly 4 years now, have gone through a miscarriage and now a difficult (not threatening, just nauseating!) pregnancy with him and his partners, and just love the office. I would imagine they're just as caring and helpful at the Olathe locations! http://collegeparkfamilycare.com/

I really like college park family care as well. I see Dr. Staci Jordan and really like her (three of my friends see her as well) I love that they have a walk in clinic after hours as well as Saturday AM. They can always get you in with "someone" in an emergency. They have a lab and xray right there as well.

Hi, M.:
We also go use the College Park group, but we live on the west side of Olathe and go to the office at College and Lone Elm. I chose this facility first because it's very near to our house, but I have been very pleased with our doctor there. We see Dr. Kenton Kaufman. He is always kind, never in a hurry, (we never feel like we're being rushed through), he always asks, "What else?" - in a non-threatening way - when I have questions and makes sure I've gone through everything on my "list" when I take our son in. There is a group of doctors there, which includes his wife, and (so far) I've always been able to get either myself or my son in (actually to see him, someday we might have to get in with someone else there) the day we call.
Best of luck to you.

I really like Dr. Casey Tramp at Olathe Family Physicians. Their office is located at the hospital. I started with her last year and really like her, she listens and takes the time to find out what is happening with you. I recently had to get in and she was gone, but her partner Dr Ratzlaff saw me and my husband and he was really nice and helpful. Hope this helps!
