Yes I can relate I've had PCOS since 2000. They put me on Metformin and my life changed I could have a normal life again. No more continual periods. I got married and was lucky to have 2 wonderful children while being on Metformin. My youngest is 3 and I am still on Metformin not for getting pG but so I don't have continual periods. I cannot take BC either. But the Metformin lowers your insulin levels to a more normal level and gives you more energy where you are not so tired. I have PCOS and Insulin Resistance. When my insulin is high then I gain weight. If you are noton Metformin anymore you might ask your Dr it might help some of the side effects your having go away. With 2 Preschoolers I need all the energy I can get. Good luck
