Due to the change of weather I cannot give my granddaughter a pool party, however what indoor places near western suburbs or even the city would be great?

What can I do next?

little monkey business in Western Springs is really cute - 3 year olds have a blast there.

I'm not at all associated with them - but really a cute spot - smaller - check it out anyway if you are close.

If you have older kids and not mostly 3 year olds then check out the Brown Cow in Forest Park - ice cream sundae parties. The family that owns it is fantastic and we have been to a couple of parties there. If allergies are a concern - they are very careful and understanding and use allergy free scoops etc etc etc.

I can't remember exactly where these are located, but I remember going to Enchanted Castle and Odyssey Fun World before and the kids with us had a great time. I think Enchanted Castle is in Lombard (??) and OFW has two locations--tinley Park and ?Naperville, I think. Also, I considered doing a party at Pump it Up Jr. and that might be a lot of fun as well.

There's always Enchanted Castle in Lombard, Chucky Cheese in Naperville, and Safari Land in Villa Park. Just went to Enchanted Castle and it was a lot of fun!

Hi A.,

Have you ever visited www.kidwinks.com? It's a great site for parents/grandparents in the Chicago area to find things to do and places to go with their kids/grandchildren. Kidwinks has an online Birthday Party Guide that gives you hundreds of places to hold a child's birthday party at the click of a mouse. If you become a member of kidwinks, which is free, you can then sort that long list by distance from your house. Here's the link directly to the Birthday Party Guide: http://www.kidwinks.com/ForKids/6/KidsBirthdayPartyPlaces...

Good luck!

You could try the bolingbrook park district. They have an indoor water park that is nice. They have birthday packages you can check out on their website.

A three yr old is kind of hard I would think you might want to do a place a little smaller and low key as they are still very young. I might suggest McDonalds play land. There is a really nice big one in woodridge on 75th and Janes. There's chuckie cheese on 75th and cass, They also have some small things for the younger kids. Pump it up in Lisle is good. Where ever you choose I would try to stick with a time where it will not be to crowded as the bigger kids will take over and the little ones will get lost in the crowd. I just rememeber there is a place in Lagrange called Monkey Bizzness which is geared toward the little ones 5 and under. You may consider that place. Very nice.for the little ones, they have small slides, things to jump in and an art room .Good Luck
