Part-time or Hourly Childcare?

Hi Moms! Does anyone have a recommendation for a *good* part-time childcare center or advice on how I can find a reputable sitter? I have used KidsPark in Arlington in the past, but after some negative experiences, I will not return. Also, I ended up researching their licensing report, and they have so many deficiencies! I can't believe that I ever let my child stay there!

I don't trust any advertising anymore; so, I'm trying to appeal to real moms for help. Thanks!

What can I do next?

We like Adventure Kids much better than KidsPark. It is the same concept, but they have a lot more things for the children to do. And, more importantly, I think that Adventure Kids does a much better job taking care of the kiddos.

Hi I am a stay home Mom and have done lots of childcare in my home. I have always had kids full time but am now looking for a part time job since my son is about to start kindergarten. I also have a 3 1/2 yr old daughter and almost 24 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. I keep a super clean home and have a toy room as well. Also very affordable ;) I am in zip code 76133 Hulen area. Thanks!

What are you looking for? I used to run an in-home childcare, and now stay at home with my daughters who are almost 3 and 9. I'd love to watch a child part time! P.M. me if you'd like to talk. I have mamapedia and professional references. :)

Hi E.,
There is a great resource for all families. It is the child care resource & referal service.
here is a link to our area. I wish badly that I had known about this in my early days of parenting. It is a great resource and they have a few options. One is a free internet search based on a zip code. However, if you want more of a radius search and want some specific criteria met (dance classes on site, etc) you can pay $10 and they will do a search for you.
Check it out. It is a lifesaver and not an advertisements.
