Hey,
I have never heard about that and I'm in the Daycare business for over 7 years :)
I do watch other kids but I have one more opening if you are interested I live in Liberty Twp. Call ###-###-#### D.
I have a babysitter that watches my baby plus one other baby. When my child gets sick i stay home from work to take care of her so that the other child does not get sick. Well when the other baby gets sick i still have to take off work because the sitter still watches that child and can not watch mine. Is there an option out there that i can do when something like that happens? I think that if my baby is not sick i should not have to take off work i think the other mother should have to take off work.

I understand what you are going through! When I used to work full time I had a similar situation and it was so frustrating. My suggestion would be to get a back up baby sitter. I am starting to watch children part time in my home and would be happy to be your backup day care option if you would like. I live in the Loveland/Milford area right off 275 and would be happy to talk with you about day care. My number is ###-###-####. Good luck! T. B.
Have you thought about owning your own business and working from home?
I live in liberty township and I have part time child care also, but I never take off when the other children are sick. My sitter is an in home daycare provider I got off the "4C for children" website. Her name is Linda Maxam. you can call and see if she can take in your child (I am sure it depends on the day and times) or ask her if she has a referral. Her # is ###-###-####
If you haven't already done so, I'd have a sit-down with the babysitter. That is NOT fair that your baby stays home when sick and the other doesn't. Aside from that, I can only say check around with the local day care centers. Some allow "drop-ins" but most don't.
Hi T.....not sure if you ever thought about working from home or not. I have been working from home for 14 years now and I love it because I don't miss a thing...good or bad! You can build your business, work as much as you need to and have some awesome toys for your family. I work for a company called Discovery Toys....if you would like to check it out or have any questions about it just check my website at www.discoverytoyslink.com/selltoysfast or call me at ###-###-####...it may just be the option you are looking for! Good luck....C.
Finding someone you trust to watch your child is very difficult and stressful. If you really like and trust this person let go of this issue and just be glad that you are able to take the time off of work when there is an illness. If it really upsets you, you may want to discuss it with the childcare provider and then start looking for another childcare provider. Best wishes!
