My 9 month old dgt was recently placed in a spica cast and doesn't fit in the traditional baby swings at the park anymore. I know there must be parks around that have the handicap accessible swings. I live on the southside and would like to find one as close to home as possible. Thanks for you help!

I know of 3 parks that have handicap swings. Thompson Park (Thompson Road just east of Arlington), University Park (200 Legacy Blvd, Greenwood, IN 46143)and Independence Park (2450 Morgantown Road, Greenwood, IN 46143).

It's not close, but Broad Ripple Park has swings that she might be able to use. If not now, in a few more months.

There is a wonderul handicapped accesible park near Center Grove Middle School. I don't know the exact street it is on but I can get you close. Coming south on 1-35 turn right on Stones Crossing then take another right when you see the school you should see the park then. Good luck and hope this helps.
