It's just the goo from inside the diaper. No biggee.
EDIT- LOL, I can totally see it being the manderain orange slices!
I have a mom that said she found clear looking things in her child's diaper that looked something like pieces of rice, only clear with fluid inside. I've never heard of such a thing. Any ideas what that could be? I do have pets. But none of them are sick or have diarrhea. I've never heard of anything like this described. I've tried googling. I can't figure out what search terms to use.
NEVER MIND... I spent the whole morning researching nasty things and looking at nasty pictures and taking my dogs pooo to the vet... It was MANDARIN ORANGES.

It sounds like it is the absorbant gels in the diaper. Next time you change a wet diaper, open it carefully over the trash can and you'll probably see what you just described.
Pinworms are common in kids. I don't know what they look like though.
When you have a chance, cut open a new clean diaper and take a look at the crystals inside.
It's the same stuff they use in plant nurseries when potting plants to help with moisture control.
They absorb moisture and release it slowly.
Call your Pediatrician ASAP...probably just a worm, or eggs from a worm...picked up from many places, most commonly daycare centers, tasting dirt, etc.
If she can keep a sample, then they can look at it under a microscope and know exactly which worm.
The treatment is easy now, just one pill, if they can determine ahead of time what they are treating.
I hate to tell you, but it sounds like bed bug eggs. I just googled around a little bit.

Look at the rice-like things around the bed bug in this picture.
The other thing it could be is tapeworm.
I also thought at first it could be the gel capsules from the diaper, and maybe it is, but diapers have to be really full for those to start to come out, and I'm sure that mom knows what those are...and the are usually circular, not long like rice.
Tell her to take her kid to the doc and ask. How should you know? Find out that way if its something at your house you canget it taken care of.
