We just found out we are pregnant with #4! We are very excited to be having a baby.......but I have always HATED being pregnant. All I can remember is being uncomfortable and crabby all the time. Right now I am no more than a few weeks along and already feel bloated and uncomfortable in the belly. Today I walked around most of the day with my pants unbuttoned. Really? Already? I know this didn't happen in my other pregnancies until at least 2-3 MONTHS in. I really dont want to drag out the ol maternity pants so early. I was just curious to know if anyone else has had this happen so early in pregnancy? And if so, did you start wearing materity stuff? Thanks!

What can I do next?

With my second pregnancy, I had to start wearing maternity pants at 6 weeks. At 7 1/2 weeks I found out we were having twins which may explain the maternity pants at 6 weeks.

With my third I was noticing my pants felt snug and was ready to get all upset that I was putting on pounds for no good reason. Then I took the test. Within a week of that test I had to use a rubber band on the button through the loop. I was in maternity pants by 8 weeks tops. It was a little longer with my second but not a ton. I remember not needing full and proper maternity pants with my first until I was like 4 or 5 months maybe if that.

I also an pregnant with #4 and only 11 weeks. I have been in pregnancy clothes for weeks. I still fit into my normal clothes but its uncomfortable. I hate this part of pregnancy because I just look fat.

With each pregnancy I had to wear materity clothes sooner than the pregnancy before.

Hmmm...with my third, I took the test and went home and put on maternity pants. LOL - maybe it was mental, but it is what it is. Maybe it took a few weeks, but it was a lot earlier than my first two. My first one I was 7 months before I had to put on maternity clothes...my second was about 3 months. Each one is different. I hope this pregnancy is easier on you!

I used a belly band from Target. It's kind of like a tube top that goes around your waist and you can leave your pants unbuttoned but the band smooths everything so you cant tell (as long as your shirt is untucked). You can even have it cover your whole belly or fold it in half for an under the belly feel.

Buy some "belly bands". They are a continuous loop made from a Lycra type fabric. I used them throughout my pregnancies and even through the nursing days. You wear it like a belt so you can cover up your unbuttoned pants. With the bands I was able to wear my normal pants for several months before getting into the maternity pants. They were also really nice for keeping my maternity pants from rolling down under my belly. And after pregnancy I was able to get back into my pre-pregnancy pants earlier when I used them to hide my unbutton pants. They are also nice to use when you are nursing because they can cover bared skin when youblift your shirt. You can find them at Target.

Aw I feel your pain honey but congratulations!
Well I know for me, I didn't feel like I had to change my clothes for awhile (maybe a few months) but it was my first.

Could you be farther along that you think?

I think I saw some kind of belly band or something that you could use to put around your midsection that helped keep your unzipped pants up until you absolutely have to buy maternity clothes.

You could google it or ask at your local maternity shop (don't need to buy it there becaue maybe you could find it cheaper on Amazon).
