How do I clean Pampered Chef cookware that has been in a storage room for 2 years? I want to sanitize it.

What can I do next?

I had a stoneware pan that got put up dirty and molded. My PC rep told me to scurb it with super hot water (as hot as you can stand) and a paste from baking soda and water. Then buy the super cheap biscuits and bake them in it and just throw the biscuits away. The biscuits should draw out any impurities and help reseason the pan as well.

Are you referring to the cookware or the clay stones? If it is the stones, put them in the oven and set to self-clean, then rinse in hot water and re-season. If it is the pots and pans, I put mine in the dishwasher and have done that for 12 or so years.

i don't really know, but it would make sense to me that getting any gunk off & then boiling water in it for a good 5-10 min. would suffice for sanitizing. maybe? anyone else?
