face paint would work, also the acrylic craft paint would work too
Hello Mama's! My husband and I thought it would be cute to paint my large pregnant baby bump like a jack-o-lantern to send to our friends and family as a "Happy Halloween!" Have any of you done this before? Can you tell me what kind of paint would be safe to use for this? Thanks in advance!

Please do not use the craft/acrylic paint... and not the tempra paints either.. They are not formulated for use on the skin. You can find skin-safe paints at Michael's or Hobby Lobby... But please be sure they say they are safe for the skin... some people can have negative reactions to other paints. Just because something is marked non-toxic only means that it shouldn't make you sick if you eat it.. nothing more..

Have fun!
I bet any face paint would be ok... its not like you are going to leave it on hours and hours.
How cute will that pic be!!!
We did this with our fist son & in about a month will do it again with this pregnancy. We just bought face paint or finger paints (the kind they sell for toddlers). It was so much fun & since it washes off pretty easily you can do a ton of different designs. My husband painted a pretty elaborate beach scene, including a shark in the water & dive flag (I'm a certified dive master). We took a ton of pictures & everyone thought it was hilarious. Have fun with it!!
One of my best friends did this several years ago for our annual Halloween party and it was a huge hit! Even the men loved it - they thought it was way cool! She wore a sports bra and some work out pants and painted her belly with face paint - she actually had hers on for prbably 7 hours and it was fine. She looked great and was really the hit of the party!
