Overstock is great! I have ordered from there numerous times. It is, a lot of times, the cheapest place to find something. The only thing is, they don't always have everything you are looking for!

If your friend has found an I-Touch there - I bet that is going to be a great price! Compare it to Walmart.com and you will know if you are getting a good deal or not.

I have ordered numerous items from Overstock.com and can tell you I have never had a problem. They have specials where shipping is free, or for $1.oo. My last purchase was a Dyson vacumn The only drawback I can think of is that it can be habit forming.

I have ordered through them several times with no problem. I would check the description. It will tell you if this is refurbished or not.

I have ordered fromt there once, I ordered sheets, instead of getting the color I ordered they just sent some othr color. Make sure your friend looks at the description, it might be a refurbished IPod. I would suggest going to www.applestore.com and see what they have to offer. They have refurbished ones also, but they have the same warranty as a new one. Hope this helps.

I have ordered quite a bit from them, but you do need to make sure that the description is thorough enough so you know what you are getting is what you are looking for. I order a lot of clothing and it seems like most everything runs a little small. I recommend them.

I have ordered from Overstock.com several times and have never had a problem. However, I agree that if they are offering an iTouch, it is probably refurbished. I would also suggest Amazon.com. They have new, refurbished and used items, and you can often find great prices. Just be sure to always read the details so you know if the item you're looking at it new or refurbished (not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that; just know what the return policy is if there is a problem).

I have not ordered from overstock but I just bought my son an iTouch for Christmas, so I did some research. If the price at overstock is a lot lower than anywhere else, then it must be refurbished or an older model, like a 2nd Generation, instead of the current 3rd Generation. Apple controls their prices very well and so, if you find a really cheap deal somewhere, I would be wary. They do not allow bargain prices. The only way to get a "deal" is if it is bundled with accesories. The iTouch is in great demand, so I would be surprised if the new models would be offered at overstock. I looked on overstock myself and did not see an Apple iTouch. There was a knockoff brand that looks similar, but is not a genuine iTouch. Hope that is helpful.
