Obviously my suggestion is the same as the rest. There is a Vet on Conn. Go and see her, she is very helpful and really nice.

Also urinates on my bathroom rugs constantly and in the tub of both bathrooms. I've also noticed this week 2 other places she decided to urinate, under the sink in one bathroom and in the corner of our dining room. I've bleached these areas after cleaining up after her and I scoop her litter box everyday and completley change it our every weekend. If anyone has any ideas on how we can get this to stop I would be very greatful. She is an awesome cat other than this issue and my husband is getting frustrated and wanting to get rid of her if it continues.

We had the same issue. Great cat, but she had the same litter/out of litter problems. We took her to the vet and found out she had a bladder infection. We put her on meds, bought special litter, filtered her water, and got prescription cat food. It stopped for awhile, but we think she just got into a bad habit. We put up with it for two years (thinking it would stop). It didn't. We finally had to say a tearful goodbye.
If you haven't been to the vet yet, start there. There are steps they can take. I HOPE this works for you.
Best of luck
my apologies if this gets posted twice ... my cat walked on the keyboard .....
urinating in strange places can be a sign of distress ... usually a medical problem. You should take your cat to the vet. If you can, do a little internet research first so that you know what questions to be prepared to answer (your cats diet, excercise, water intake, other strange/different behaviours or changes, etc)once there. The vet may ask you to collect a urine sample (although some prefer to do it themselves .. this is more reliable but more expensive for you).. that should not be so difficult if your cat is going in the tub .. don't be afraid to ask them to talk you through the best way to do that. Even if your cat's problem is simply bad behavior ... the first way of determining this is to rule out a medical problem. If you need a vet in the area... please email me and I can inquire for you .. I have family that recently lived in the area and took their pets to a German veterinarian that they liked a lot.
White vinegar is also good for cleaning/neutralizing urine odors. It is also less harmful for your children .. all of you. I keep at least two of those big jugs from the commissary at all times. You can also use it in the wash with your rugs.
Best of luck!
You may want to take the cat to the vet and have it checked out, she may have a urinary tract infection - not uncommon in cats. Many cats that have a urinary tract infection begin to urinate in places other than their litter box. The worse the infection gets, the more places they urinate.
Hope this helps!
Have you taken her to the vet and had her checked for a urinary tract infection? Sometimes when a cat has an UTI they just go whereever they are and avoid the litterbox. Hope this helps.
Our cat went through this too. He had a urinary tract infection. Time for a vet visit.
My cat did the same thing which was not her, so I brought her to the vet and sure enough she had a urinary tract infection and with cats that can be serious. The fun part of all of this is trying to collect the urine sample, wait until you see the fun of that! (I don't want to spoil that for you)
