I know they get marked down the day after Christmas. Will they be marked down even more if I wait say a week? There's some ones my dd really liked but even at 50% they're still pricey. TIA
They usually just stay at 50%. If they do go lower they are pretty well picked clean and nothing is left. I vaguely remember older stock being dragged out at 70% at least once. Even when they are 50% off they tend to be picked over if you aren't there right away.
No, they put them up and keep them for next year. The only ones that go down a lot are the ones that say the year on them. Such as Merry Christmas 2013.
If you like to collect them then any sale on them is worth while because...if you like it you will eventually like it enough to buy it. So buying a couple when they're on sale is a very good deal for you.

One of the Hallmark stores near me - has LAST years ornaments for 75% off. This years are at 50% today. paper is buy one - get one. same with Christmas cards...
They are pricey. And for the most part - durable. They were made to last.
I've never seen a Hallmark ornament lower than 50%. If I were collecting, I'd go ahead and pay that price.
Later in the year, when it doesn't seem like Christmas any more, you could always check on eBay to see if there are any better deals.
Depends on the store. Here, the vultures descend and they are gone by the end of this week. If you really really want one, I wouldn't wait too long.
