I�m new to Texas and I was completely mortified when I saw a scorpion right behind the rocking chair I was rocking my son in. More recently, my husband found a black widow on our back porch. I have no experience with either since I�m from up north, but it is definitely time to call an exterminator! With a toddler and a pug in the house, I don�t want harsh chemicals and pesticides. Does anybody know of an organic (if there really is such a thing) exterminator? Thanks in advance for any help.

We also had black widows on our porch in Keller, maybe we live in the same neighborhood. Anyway, we have a terrific guy, you'd have to ask him what he uses, and he says it's safe for our 1 year old. His name is Pat Gann with Gann's Pest Control ###-###-####. We haven't had any bugs in the house (except for a few dead ones.) Hope it helps!

I have been using Curtis Pest Control since 2000 and am very pleased with the service. I like that they are a small family company. Husband and wife and a couple of techs. You will need quarterly service. They also have a fireant service which is extra but worth it to me. I used to get bit every year walking out barefoot which I have been doing since I was a child.
yes there are exterminators who use organics what you have to be careful of is "are they using the same equipment that they just used the pesticides in" If you would like give me a call and I can tell you some self remedies that you can use

Hi H....it's D.! We use DFW Pest Control. Don't think it is organic, but it is not a spray and is baby and pet safe. They put different powder mixes in the wall depending on what types of bugs you have. Even different mixes for different types of ants or spiders and we have had several! They have a one year program where they come out on request at any time for "free". It is called Wall and Void Treatment. They also spray outside the perimeter of the house 4 times per year. They have yard programs and several other things as well.
We tend to get lots of creepy crawlies living accross from the park. Theirwebsite is dfwpest.com. The kids havenot had any problems and the bugs are gone immendiately. We just renewed for the second year.

Hello. We currently use Ridall and ask for organic pest control only. The name of the exterminator we use is Patrick. They seem to be really good. I'm not sure what area you are living in, but we used to use Away Pest Control (Bob was the exterminator) when we were close to coppell. I hope this helps.
