How long did it take you to get pregnant after stopping the depo shot? Also, have you used nuva-ring, and if so what is your opinion? I would like to compare depo vs. nuva-ring vs. the pill vs. and IUD. Thanks for sharing!

I've only used the pill and the nuvaring. I did get pregnant about 4 mos after stopping the pill. After both my kids I now use the nuva ring. I really like it. It's just a bit more challenging to remember as it's not a daily thing. Love it otherwise. Although, can't wait to stop hormones all together when the husband has big "V"... : )

I was on the depo and loved it...But I rember it took me about 3 month's to get pregnant. I guess it all really depends on your body and hormones. My sister uses the nuva ring and love's it. As for the IUD, had it and don't recommend it to anyone. I personally had a bad experience with it and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, now I had two sisters that had the IUD and one got pregnant twice with it so now she just sticks with the pill's. Someone asked about the IUD and I responded with what my experience was with it so if you want to snoop on my "answers" on my profile to read what I wrote and what some of the other mama's wrote feel free! Have a wonderful evening!

After stopping the pill it took us a few months to get pregnant. We weren't really trying, but when we really put on the full court press, it took us 2 months. I got the Mirena (IUD) after my first and it took 2 months to get pregnant. I currently have the Mirena again and love it. I liked the pill too and it was easy for me to take it correctly, but I love the Mirena!

DO know that there are 2 kinds of IUDs; hormonal Mirena, and non-hormonal Paragard. They're very, very different from each other, except "where they go!"

Depo... less than a year. I don't remember how long I was off of it, but I thought it was still in my system when OOPS!! I realized I found my calling quite by accident!

I was on depo a couple of times, but not when I tried to get prego. I was on the pill, and got prego the first week I went off both times. Not sure if that helps.
