I'm getting my MBA from North Central University- online and self-paced, classes are 3 months long and you can start any month. Fully accredited and the costs were less than some of the more advertised online programs.

I attended AIU online and loved it but it did consume my time. Most of it was trying to learn more about the pc. getting tech support that at the end found that they had links on the side of the assignments that would have made it easier. Also the software I had not installed it all the way so struggled through. But loved it. It does require class time and a bunch of bull that you can do it at your own pace. I also talked to a gal that did Phoenix online and hated it. Said AIU was better. I loved interaction with others we had group projects we had to do and one would put it together after we all gather the information. So we were obligated to participate. I worked full time and raising a granddaughter at the time was 5. She was so good or no way could I have been able to do it. I stayed up most nights all night. I got my Associate Degree in business, but tried to go on to get my Bachlors. What happened in a short time it was a lot harder and most of the students were better in the Third yr. I was above average in getting the Associate. I am sure to get a Masters, is way harder. It cost me about $25K and once you are out of school six months they are after you to pay. I had one gal tell me they were continually on her while she was in school. I had to refinance my home to pay it off and get out from under it. Sally Mae is brutal. I had six loans. Some were gov some not. I had no idea what they were all talking about. Until they wanted me to pay. So be careful. G. W

University of Phoenix is online but not sure about their master's program.

TCU also has a master's program but I'm not sure if it's online. You may want to check it out.

I am attending Amberton University right now. It is in Frisco and Garland, but some of their programs can be done completely online. The cost is very reasonable.

i go to Ashford University, in Clinton, IA. I am almost finished with my BA in Organizational Management Degree (i have about 6 months till graduation). All my classes are online, I did my student loans on line and have had wonderful results with it. I too did not have time for "traditional" classes, not to mention that it bored the devil out of me. If you want to go look, here is the link http://www.ashford.edu/home, tell them that a friend sent you..C. Kennedy my advisor is Shawn Manergino.. his email is ____@____.com
They have been wonderful with me even when I had to take some time off... it is hard work, one class every 5 weeks, but it is well worth it.. and the price is not too bad either.

Let me know if this works for you....\

I am currently enrolled at the University of Phoenix. It is completely online courses. There are no breaks except at Christmas, but you graduate quicker than being in a traditional classroom. Let me know if you need anymore info. My email address is ____@____.com.

My advice is just to research the programs offered by different schools to find out which one is best for you. Also always make sure that they are an accredited school. I am attending Grand Canyon University online completely and my husband is attending Liberty University online completely. These are the schools that had the programs that best fit our needs, one of which like you required that the program be 100% online. Hope this helps and congrats on pursuing your Masters!

Make sure the university is accredited. Most employers don't care where you got your Master's degree from. If you plan on staying in academia then it does matter. My sister just got her Nursing Master's degree from Phoenix online. Her hospital paid her 30K more for having the master's degree and they didn't care where it came from. I work for an University and when faculty are reviewing applicants, they don't consider you having a "real" degree if it doesn't have the accreditation behind it.
Good Luck

Most major universities have online programs, but make sure that you can get the entire degree online. If it's from a university that also offers "regular" classroom programs, then the online degree is no different from any other.

I know that I'll step on some toes by saying this, and I'm sorry, but do some checking into how well the university is accepted by the field you want to go into before enrolling.
University of Phoenix may be just fine for nursing (I have no idea about that field), but for business, most of my corporate contacts laugh at degrees from there. That may or may not be fair, but the perception is that it's a less rigorous program than those sponsored by "regular" universities.

Hey B.,

Congratulations! I went to DBU (Dallas Baptist University) and they have a great online programs for graduate school. In fact they were on the list of best MBA schools in the US. They are very helpful, friendly, and keep you on the right path to your success. Best of luck and maybe DBU is the right place for your studies.

I go to Western Governors University. It's great. I've been attending for a year now. I'm overseas so the biggest thing for me is that I don't have to be online at a certain time. They are fully accredited, and their faculty and support staff is amazing. Plus, they are a lot more affordable than University of Phoenix. I know I sound like I own stock, but when I find a good thing I like to share it with others. Good luck!
