Wolferman's has great breakfast sets that are inexpensive. They specialize in English muffins, so it's something a little different and would make a nice Christmas morning treat.
Every year, I send holiday treats to family/friends that have many kids since it is too costly to buy individual gifts. I have done a hot cocoa theme...chocolate croissants from Williams Sonoma....chocolates from Vosges. Each of these gifts ends up costing around $60...and with tight times, I am looking for more affordable ideas. :) Does anyone have any great bake good gift ideas to send to friends/family for under $30-40? Other than baking my own.... :)

Have you searched etsy.com? It's an amazing site with moms/people selling ONLY handmade goods! I have a childrens clothing boutique, and sell via etsy. I also recently got some chocolate covered bacon from etsy for my hubs and it came packaged nicely and was very affordable. I'm sure most shops are offering some sort of xmas packaging/gift giving etc. Best of all you're supporting a small business too!
We have received some nice food gifts from my brother & sister-in-law that were ordered from stonewallkitchen.com. I'm not sure on the pricing, but I'm guessing there would be some sales or free shipping offers this time of year. Good Luck!
Do you have a Joanns near you? They had many really cute baking mixes and food gifts for inexpensive, plus they were on sale.
Harry and David, is having a 25% off your entire order sale! They have food gifts...really good ones!
I was at Costco the other day and their gift baskets were awesome.. they start at about $19.99, maybe even $14.99.. They go up to $150.00 There is no way to put them together for those prices..
All high quality brands also..
Here are some of them, but the ones in the stores are even better priced and assortments..

Harry & David has some nice (and affordable) treat towers with all sorts of options. Plus, they offer a fruit of the month (or quarter, or bi-month, or half-year, depending on how much you want to spend) with fresh, seasonal fruit delivered to the doorstep. I believe Wolferman's Bakery is affiliated with Harry & David's, so there's that option, too...though I've found Wolferman's to be a little on the pricey side.
I have often ended up making my own treats, though, from chocolate covered pretzels to biscotti.
Another option could be to put together a basket yourself with jams and cookies. Lots of crafty places and stores offer homemade jams, which would add a nice touch. And then a nice Scottish shortbread cookie (available most anywhere) goes REALLY well with jams/jellies. Again, Harry & David has all of these, too.
Have fun with it!

I recently had a customer do a cupcake theme with our cupcake pan, spreaders, $1 cookbook and the flour sugar shaker.
Are you shipping the gifts - we can help with that too!

I do Cookies by Design for personal and business. You can make it fit your budget - a platter of their gourmet cookies with a couple of frosted ones on top is economical yet plentiful. The bouquets can be from 3- ?? cookies, price goes up per cookie but who doesn't love those cookies?? They last a while, and I hear they can be frozen (not that mine would ever need to!). Good luck!
actually baking your own is pretty costly these days-how about chocolate covered pretzels or something less.
