One Year Old Party at Dinner Time, Is My Food Ok?

Hey Mamas,
So I am wanting some feedback on my food spread for my one year old boy's party next weekend. I had to make it at 5pm because that is the only time both Grandmas could come and of course they can't miss this one! So I know people will be majorly hungry!! Here is what I am thinking of serving:
Queso dip with ground beef and tortilla chips
Fruit tray
Veggie tray
Cookies
Tortilla roll ups with flour, spinach and whole wheat tortillas
Dinosaur nuggets for the older kids
Variety of Coke for adults
Capri Sun for kids
Cake and Ice cream
So how does that sound? See my family will eat that Queso dip as a whole meal, but I know maybe some people just think of that as a little side snack. The Tortilla roll ups are like sandwiches on tortillas, they have cream cheese, meat and salsa and I make enough that everyone can have like 5 or so, they are so yummy. I feel like it is sort of lunch food, but I am not prepared financially at the moment to do something different. The party is from 5-7 and there will be tons of all this food bc I have a habit of making more than is even needed. So does this sound good? I mean I could possibly scrap it all and make french bread pizzas or something, but they are only good when hot right out of the oven... I don't know, guess I just want some reassurance that this sounds like something that my guests will enjoy. Appreciate any feedback, thanks!

What can I do next?

Am I invited? Sounds yummy to me! Maybe skip the cookies since there will be cake and ice cream. Happy #1 little guy!

It sounds fine. The ONLY thing I might possibly add is a meat tray of turkey/ham/roast beef. That is only because I know not everyone in my family would do the tortilla roll ups and there are some dietary issues.

Do your guests know that you'll be serving food? Usually when I'm invited to a birthday party that late in the day I would grab a bite to eat before leaving the house. I would think unless you've told people that you'll be serving food, they might eat before coming over. Your menu looks wonderful, but I agree with another comment, omit the cookies because you have cake.
I hope you let your 1 year old dig into the cake, that's the fun part of a first birthday. Make sure to have extra batteries for the camera, you wouldn't want to take a chance on missing any pictures of the happy event.
Have fun, you sound like a great hostess!

It sounds great. We usually just throw up our hands at the work and the guessing and trying to predict what will make EVERYONE happy...And order pizza.

I think it's great! You have a variety of stuff to please everyone, even kids. Mostly the adults are going to eat anyway, the kids will be too busy playing to eat much more than some chips and a few grapes probably...I know very healthy, but sometimes you have to scrap your ideas of a "meal" when you're at a party! ;)

Congrats on your little on turning a year! I think it changes things for the better!

It's makin me hungry. Sounds good and keeps you available rather than worrying about cooking stuff after they are there. Sounds good to me. It is a birthday party afterall, not a DINNER party. Leaves room for cake. Everyone will go home feeling not too stuffed unless you have queso hog in the group :) I love that stuff.

Milk for the kids and water for the adults (tap is fine, just a pitcher with ice water or an ice bucket).

that sounds very good. I would also make some pig n the blankets for the kids and some sausage balls also for the kids. And adults love them to:)

For those who can't have the roll ups for dinner for dietary reasons, perhaps add a big bowl of salad. Lettuce is VERY inexpensive. Throw on some garbanzo beans or nuts for protein, diced carrots and celery and a little dressing, done.
