Hey. This is driving me crazy; I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on June 3rd. I breastfed for 1 month, and started taking the pill when my daughter was 2 weeks old. Everything was fine, but now I'm worried... My prescription states I'm to take my pill every day for a consecutive 3 months, then stop for a week (my period is in that week) but I get my period every couple days! (Litteraly from one day to the other) Never heavy but really annoying. My tummy hurts really bad too, does anybody have advice on what I should do!? (I don't wanna get off the pill because my boyfriend doesn't trust condoms ...lol.) HELP??

What can I do next?

I have never, ever heard that 'short people' can't use an IUD..my SIL is shorter than 5'4" and has had an IUD for about a year! If that's what you want, look into it
It sounds like you are on Seasonique (or something like that - periods 4 times a year). I've been on the mini-pill (progesterone only) since my daughter was born 4 1/2 years ago (on June 3rd as well!!). My period is sooooo irregular on this pill, (I've had my period MAYBE 10 times in the last 4 years) but I would not go back to an estrogen based pill because it made me crazy! (then again, my husband got a vascetomy yesterday, so my BC worries are almost over!). The different combos of hormones in each pill will effect you differently.
There's al
Try some other pills - maybe the 4 times a year pill just doesn't work with your body. Your body could also still be readjusting to the birth and nursing.

And as far as the condom 'comment' - um, I hate condoms. Does anyone really 'like' them? ha! Am I self centered and abusive? Whoops. My bad.

You really need to see your OB... it is not normal and you need to be checked out. You may need to just have your hormones checked out, but perhaps a change of BC all together is another option.
And as for the lady that called your BF a jerk??? Um my husband and I both don't totally trust condoms. They aren't 100%, but he for sure needs to be sensitive because they might need to be used for awhile until things get sorted out... Better than not using one and getting prego again.
I got prego with my 2nd when #1 was 6 months, so for sure be careful!

I don't think that the word jerk was the right wording for the boyfriend as no one knows him personally, but this woman . However I do agree you need to look into a different form of contraception you mite just need alittle less of the hormone or that's just not the one for you.

Well it sounds like that pill isn't the right one for you. Talk with your OB about trying another one as there are plenty on the market. I have the IUD and LOVE it!
