Hi Ladies,

So I get my eyebrows threaded about every 5 weeks, and the girl told me I should start using either olive oil or castor oil to help the sparse areas of my eyebrows grow in thicker and faster. Anyone try this and gotten results or heard of it before?

Plucking can, over time, damage hair follicles and eventually they won't grow hair anymore.
When my hair suffered a massive shedding due to a thyroid situation last year, I tried something to help it grow out and it sped up my growth rate from 1/2 inch per month to 1 inch per month (for about 3 months).
I took a biotin supplement, 1 teaspoon of food grade diatomacious earth (mixed with water or juice and drank it down) and 1 tablespoon of black strap molasses once a day every day.
My pony tail is looking much better than it did, but hair does not just spot grow - it grows everywhere. My under arm and leg hair grew quickly, too.
And my eyebrows got a bit shaggy faster as well.
Besides boosting my hair, my finger and toe nails also grew strong and long - it seemed like I had to trim them every few days.

I have tried applying sunflower oil to my eyebrows for a while. I have black eyebrows, and it made them blacker and healthier looking. Am not sure if it helped in making them thicker much...

I have no idea but I'm interested to hear the responses. My eyebrows are very thin (that's the way the lady waxed them the first time I ever got them done) and I was just talking to the lady that does my eyebrows today about trying to grow them out.

Sorry no help but am also interested! Have you tried googling it? I'm sure there's a beauty website somewhere with info!
