I have a full supply of Bum Genius diapers, the velcro is pretty worn out. Will snappis fasteners work on Bum Genius covers?

What can I do next?

I did the refresher kit back when they were free. It's not that big of a deal. I would be afraid of converting to snaps because it could ruin the covers.

I've done the refresher kit too. It was really easy to put on, but Bum Genius velcro is such a bummer to me. You could try the snappies, but I'd be afraid of it really ruining the covers too.

hmm, I have different covers, but I'm sitting here thinking about this and IDK, the teeth on a snappie grab the material, so on something like a cover it may leave small holes. It will work, I mean there is no reason it won't work with any fabric that it can snag into, but I'm not sure I would do it. Although If the alternative is replacing all your diapers, I'd give it a shot.

Can you sew? I bought refresher kits for mine and repaired them. They are $1.00 each. Here is the link: http://www.cottonbabies.com/product_info.php?products_id=...

I also had some of my diapers converted to snaps. We bought all our BumGenius at a store closing on sale, so it didn't matter much if we spent a little more converting them. http://convertmydiapers.com/home

P.S.
The snap conversion, did not ruin my diapers. My son is 2 1/2 and the diapers still work perfectly. It's been a year and a half since the conversion, and not a single problem.

No, they won't. They would poke holes in the PUL and cause leaks.

If you're handy, you should be able to replace the aplix.
