How embarrassing is this???? I would love to know what you all think. For years I have had a problem going #2. I go maybe once a week? When I do, it is a horrible painful experience! The cramping feels like I am in labor! A friend of mine has the same problem, so I always thought this was "normal". But here lately, I have a constant "bloating feeling" and every time I eat I feel like I am going to throw up. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I am only 100lbs, so I don't like to eat fat free foods because I ma afraid I will loose weight so I eat ALOT of sugary, fattening foods like twinkies all day to try and keep the weight I have (I am just naturally thin, I detest exercising, I never do it!). I would love to have "regular bowels" and eat healthier with out the weight loss. I am open to any suggestions!

What can I do next?

You need to be eating better. Goodness how I wish I had your problem, hell I LOOK at a twinkie and gain 5 pounds. You should be getting more fruits & veggies. I'm taking Juice Plus and have found it to regulate my bathroom habits. You can check out the website below. I'm a distributor but it doesn't matter how you get those fruits and veggies, just get them. You can try adding a protein shake along with a healthy meal which should keep you from losing weight. You also need more fiber and make sure you drink lots and lots of water. Exercising could help too, a simple daily 30 minute walk could get things moving. Good luck, there's nothing worse then feeling "stopped up".

EAT FIBER GIRL!!! get lots of apples, pears, plants (lettuces, spinach, kale, broccoli), total cereal... it's kind of boring but i swear in 2 weeks you will start having regular poops, maybe not right away... It's things like twinkies and that junk that stops you up, hydrogenated anything is a poop-stopper! Eat yogurt and soft cheeses (nothing hard or sharp) if you want more calories. Add Ghee to your healthy foods if you want/need the extra calories, it's the clarified butter product, you can find itat whole foods or fresh fields organic stores. Poor you, i really don't know how you can stand going poop! My girlfriend who runs 4 miles a day also has this problem, but everyone in her fam is like that :) good luck darlin.

You may hav a yeast overgrowth problem from all of the sugar and poor eating. Look up candidaisis or yeast overgrowth to find the symptoms and diets to help with this. You need to saty off sugar, yeast, starches, and eat more protein foods and good fats. Also, try adding acidophilous to your diet. Take the acidophilous with a spoon of unsweetened yogurt with live cultures or milk. The yahoo candida support group has a lot of information and a questionaire to determine if yeast is your problem. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/candidasupport/?ygui...

Make sure you drink a lot of water and add fiber to your diet. If you don't want to eat foods with fiber, buy some Benefiber and add it to your water and everything you eat! It mixes clear and doesn't get gritty, you don't even know it's there.
