O.O.
I'm sorry.
I find this question to be very, very sad.
My advice? Focus on a healthy BABY.
If that's not acceptable, stop.
Good luck.
is there really any way to "try" to conceive a baby boy? We have a daugher, and I thought I was done, but my hubby reeeaallly wants 2 more kiddos. Of course, he wants a son, so he wants to try at least one more time. If we have a boy, we will more than likely stay with 2 kids. Any ideas, advice and tips would be awesome!
update: I should have worded my question differently, but too late.
Yes, of course we BOTH hope for a healthy baby, whether it be a boy or a girl, and YES, he would be happy with another girl. He is the only boy among 4 sisters! so we do have slim chances of getting a boy, but we're hopeful.
I know we have a 50/50 chance of it being a boy, Im not stupid ladies. I just wanted to see if anyone really did have some experience trying something and it worked, thats all.
thanks to all those who didn't critize me :)

Adopt, ask specifically for a boy, that is the ONLY way to guarantee a boy. Otherwise, realize that children are a blessing and leave it at that.
So the ones without penises don't count? Bummer.
There are many myths to conceiving children of a specific sex....
however the ONLY sure-fired way *I* know? Is going to a doctor - having IVF with gender selection....
My husband wanted two girls - we were blessed with two boys. Take what you get and love 'em.....be thankful!
Of course not.
Have you never had a basic sex education class, do you really not get how it works?
I hope you're both prepared for the possibility of another girl, or twin girls or a diasbled/sick child, because these are just some of the many possible outcomes of pregnancy.

My hope was always for a healthy baby. You get what you get.
If you really want a boy - adopt one.
My oldest grandson is the first boy born in 50 years in my family...all these girls!!!!
I never tired any gender selection methods myself but I do remember that the Shettles Method was one of the more effectie methods out there, more so for boys than for girls. You could research that. An OB/GYN that I used a long time ago used to recommend that to patients.
Oh yeah - it's easy.
Just get a few blankets, as many pillows as you have in your house, some duct tape (scotch tape will do in a pinch), and a chicken. Oh, it has to be live b/c you'll be making a sacrifice. So better make that a rooster for a boy. Oh, and a hatchet.
