Anyone know how to contact Com Ed's corporate customer relations? Customer service won't give out any information and when I call Exelon's 800 number all I get is a switchboard that can only transfer me if I have a specific name. I tried the offices of the some of the corporate people (listed on the website) but can't get a call back. Anybody ever successfully contacted customer relations in Com Ed's corporate? Help?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Ben- Com Ed is the electric company here in Chicago. It's Commonwealth Edison owned by the Exelon company. Oh and btw thanks for the help on my paper/ speech last semester. I got an A on both. In fact, somehow I ended up with an A in that class altogether.

This site:

recommends that you dial 800-334-7661 press "0" at the end of each prompt to get to a real person....that usually works with most automated voice menus....good luck!

I don't know what Com Ed is, but if it is a publicly traded company, find out what the full name is and ask a stock broker to look it up in his computer and to give you the number to the corporate offices. Its public knowledge and the corporate officer's names are public information.

If you will give me the information I will try and look it up for you.

Good luck to you and yours.

Kind of depends on what the issue is.
We're in the middle of a massive billing dispute with them right now (think: $3K), and we've opened a case with the IL Commerce Commission.
The ICC has given us some interesting insight into how things work there, and in short, it's racket.
