We have had a stomach virus at our house. Does anyone know how to get a vomit odor out of upholstered furniture?

What can I do next?

I would recommend "Simple Solution". It's available at petstores.

Baking soda is a good odor remover-- but I don't know whether it will stain your furniture. Can you take the cover off and wash it? You could also try calling a carpet/upholstery clearning place, ususally it's not too expensive.

A tip my Mom taught me for the future...is to keep cheap shower liners at home and when the kids get the flu have them sit/lay on the shower liners then when they get sick, you can just throw them away.

Hi Lisa -
I shop online with a wellness company that has the same products you would buy in the store but they are non-toxic and do not have any of the harsh chemicals that are in your regular store bought products. The products are about the same price (some cheaper) then what you would normally buy at the store but the products work better! There is one cleaner that I have found works great to eliminate the "vomit" smell out of your furniture. Unfortunately, I am not able to sell you my products but, if you want to call me sometime I can explain a bit more to you about the company and the products and answer any questions you may have - or - send me your phone number and a good time to call you so you don't have to worry about long distance charges.
Sincerely,
Kim O
